Ryan Loya was born and raised in Houston, Texas where he competed as a two-sport athlete in high school. Ryan received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and graduated from South Texas College of Law. An associate attorney at the Buzbee Law Firm, Ryan currently handles all aspects of civil litigation.
During his tenure at South Texas College of Law, Ryan competed as a Varsity Mock Trial, Moot Court, and Arbitration advocate winning a number of advocacy and briefing awards for one of the most prestigious advocacy programs in the country. Ryan was an active member of the Hispanic Law Students Association and was elected President in his final year. Ryan also worked for the Honorable Joseph “Tad” Halbach at the 333rd District Court for Harris County, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, and a prominent personal injury law firm.
At his previous firm, Ryan gained substantial experience in all aspects of litigation. Two months after being licensed, Ryan was in the courtroom where he tried and won his first case. Since then, Ryan has tried and assisted in numerous other verdicts or settlements for clients that he represents.
Ryan is licensed to practice in Texas.
