Tony Buzbee Donates $3.5 million worth of luxury vehicles to Galveston charity, The Jesse Tree.
Over the last few years, The Buzbee Law Firm has given away more than 1,000 bicycles per year at Christmas for Houston's needy children.

There is more to life than practicing law. The attorneys at The Buzbee Law Firm have been blessed; thus, we believe that it is our duty to our community and to God to give something back. Tony Buzbee and the attorneys at the Buzbee Law Firm take pride in their community involvement. Tony Buzbee is a former Marine who served his country in the Persian Gulf and Somalia as an infantry and reconnaissance officer. Mr. Buzbee currently serves on the Board of Directors of Hometown Bank, which has branches across Galveston and Brazoria Counties. Buzbee also serves on the board of The Jesse Tree, a nonprofit organization that assists the homeless and those in need in Galveston and Brazoria counties. Buzbee has served on the Board of Visitors of Texas A&M Galveston, serves on the Board of the Bay Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and has also served as a Director of the Houston Law Alumni Foundation. Mr. Buzbee is also past Chairman of the Galveston County Democratic Party, and is intimately involved in politics both statewide, and nationwide. Mr. Buzbee has given millions to charity and his church over the years in an effort to give back to the communities that have given so much to him and his family. Mr. Buzbee also has the honor of having the Buzbee Leadership Learning Center at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas named for him. Mr. Buzbee is also a member of the Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University System.
Mr. Buzbee is also involved with Buzbee Properties, Inc., a property development and management company that owns properties across the State of Texas, Louisiana, and Florida, and has been recognized in its efforts to revitalize historic, downtown Friendswood.
Peter Taaffe has been repeatedly recognized by bar associations for his pro bono work and has been a member of the State Bar's Pro Bono college for several years. He also volunteers with Mobile Loaves and Fishes and ARCH, feeding the homeless. He is also a former member of the University of Houston Law Alumni Board.
