J. Scott Daniels grew up in a small, rural town in upstate New York.  Scott earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 2007.  Scott earned his bachelor's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 2003.

Scott began working at the Buzbee Law Firm shortly after graduating from law school where he has primarily worked on several mass torts.  Scott also helped successfully defend a parent that was sued for libel by members of a local school board and several district administrators.
